Jordan Boyd drives the #29 Southern Sport Modified Class car.  His home track is 85 Speedway but he can also be found racing at RPM Speedway.  He lives in Eustace, TX.

Team members helping Jordan are:  Jerry Boyd, Joel Boyd, Michelle Boyd. 

Jordan started racing in 2004 in the Southern Sport Mod Class at 85 Speedway because his parents had been racing for years.  Then they stopped and Jordan picked up where they left off.

The thrill of racing for Jordan is being sideways in a corner with les than a foot of distance between the guy beside him.  His most exciting racing moment was when he caught on fire on the back straight-away and the heat was so intense that his tear-offs melted.  He's most proud that he is 18 years old and he can race with the guys that have been doing this for years. 

Jordan's racing hero is his Dad, Jerry Boyd.

Of racing, Jordan says, "If they don't like racing, they have never been to a dirt track.  Speed, fights, and friends. what else can you find on a Saturday night that is more fun?!"
