Sandy Ramsey drives the #58 Bomber Class car.  Her home track is 85 Speedway but she can also be found racing at Thunderbird Speedway, Cowtown Speedway.  She lives in Scurry, TX.

Team members helping Sandy are:  Gary Ramsey, J D Lawhon, David Emmonds, Boogel Emmonds, Randy Eckert, Larry.  Sandy Ramsey is the car owner.

Sandy started racing in 2000 in the Bomber Class at 85 Speedway because her Father raced 50 years and several other family members race.  Her first win was that same year.  Career highlights include finishing in the Top 4 in '08 and in the Top 5 all other years.

The thrill of racing for Sandy is going fast, outrunning the top 5 cars and listening to the engine run.  Her most exciting racing moment was when she won her first Heat race.  She's most proud of becoming good enough to finish in the top 4 several times and she's very proud to have her Dad there watching her get a trophy each year since she started. 

Sandy's racing heroes are her Dad, Davud Lawhon and her husband, Gary Ramsey for making sure she's on the track each Saturday.

Of racing, Sandy says, "I'm having more fun at 44 years of age than any time in my life.  I wish I had started years ago.  My Granddaughter comes and watches me every Saturday night and to see her tell people "that's my nanny" makes me proud.  The thrill of racing side by side a cousin and several of my family and fans yelling for me as I pull in the middle and pull my helmet and hear so many people screaming my name makes racing well worth it!  I love the sound of the engine. I love getting in line and racing my heart out but most of all I'm having fun.  It's not just racing, it's having all my family there.  It's clean family time each and every Saturday and that's what is most important!".
