James Ruyle drives the #42 Modified Class car.  His home track is 85 Speedway but he can also be found racing at Grand Prairie Speedway and Cowtown Speedway.  He lives in Mabank, TX.

Team members helping James are:  Tracie, Brandy, Randall, JR.  James and Tracie Ruyle are the car owners.

James started racing in 1992 in the Street Stock Class at Thunderbird Speedway because his family raced for many years, including his Dad and uncles.  His first win was in 2004 in the Street Stock Class at 85 Speedway.  Career highlights include finishing 13th in the Points in '04.

The thrill of racing for James is the fun, swapping paint, and racing side by side.  It's a family hobby.  His most exciting racing moment was winning his first Feature.  He's most proud of racing for his Dad.

James's racing hero is his Dad, James Ruyle.

Of racing, James says, "You don't have to be rich to race.  I love both of them.  My life is more important!".
