Charles Underwood drives the #01 Sport Mod
Class car. His home track is Abilene Speedway. He lives in
Abilene, TX.

Charles started racing in 1980 in the
Sport Mod Class at Abilene Speedway because his Dad had raced when
Charles was young. His first win was in '09 in the Late Model
Class at Abilene Speedway.
The thrill of racing for Charles is the
feel of the car and beating guys with better equipment. His most
exciting racing moment was his first win without his crew chief to help.
He's most proud of representing his church and using his racing as a
ministry.
Charles's racing hero is Richard Petty.
Of racing, Charles says, "It is fun and
very addictive. Costs lots of money but a fun time!".
