Sam Hodges drives the #5 Modified Class
car. His home track is Cardinal Motor Speedway but he can also be
found racing at Champion Motor Speedway. He lives in Eunice, NM.

Sam started racing in 1981 in the Stock
Class at Road Runner Speedway after starting as a crew guy and loved it.
His first win was that same year. Career highlights include 8
Track Championships, winning $5,000 to win, finishing 2nd and 4th in
$5,000 to win.
The thrill of racing for Sam is the
speed and side by side competition. His most exciting racing
moment was winning a $5,000 to win show and running 2nd to his son,
Cody. He's most proud of his 8 Track Championships.
Sam's racing hero is his son, Cody.
