Mitchell started racing in 1984 in the
Street Stock Class at Heart O' Texas Speedway because sitting in the
stands with friends and wondering how it would feel to drive a car.
His first win was in '92 in the Hot Stock Class at Heart O' Texas
Speedway. Career highlights include Top 5 at Heart O' Texas
Speedway and Belmead Speedway in '91, 4 Feature wins and Top 5 at Heart
O' Texas Speedway.
The thrill of racing for Mitchell is
going fast and turning left and the competition. His most exciting
racing moment was Feature race win at All Star in Belmead TX, running
neck and neck with Sid, the kid, for several laps until the finish.
He's most proud of the years '91 & '92 career racing.
Mitchell's racing hero is Paul White.
Of racing, Mitchell says, "It's fun!
It's a lot of work, lots of money but it's worth it to me!".
