Joey Klemish
#KB22
Joey Klemish drives the #KB22 Sport Mod
Class car. His home track is Aztec Speedway but he can also be
found racing at Fairgrounds Speedway. He lives in Farmington, NM.
Team members helping Joey are:
Mom, Dad, Bob Harter, Chuck Finch, Boettler family and local racers.
Ralph Klemish is the car owner.
Joey started racing in 2006 in the Mini
Stock Class at Fairgrounds Speedway because he grew up around racing.
His Dad was a Stock Car State Champion and many Track Champions.
Joey's first win was that same year. Career highlights include '06
Mini Stock Track Champion at Fairgrounds Speedway and '09 Mini Stock
Track Champion at Aztec Speedway.
The thrill of racing for Joey is going
fast and being competitive. His most exciting racing moment was
starting 21st in the Ryan Bard Memorial at Aztec Speedway and finishing
2nd beating Julie Boettler who also started next to him, racing from
back to front. He's most proud of being able to start dead last,
finish in the Top 5 and not touch a single car. It's fun and makes
him a better driver.
Joey's racing hero is Ryan Bard.
