Scot Raney
#91
Scot Raney drives the #91 IMCA Modified
Class car. His home track is Boyd Raceway. He lives in
Sherman, TX.
Team members helping Scot are:
wife - Brenda, son - Trevor and friend - Landen.
Scot started racing in 1991 in the
Modified Class car for the fun and when they started it was a cheap
hobby. His first win was in '91 in the FunBunch class at Grayson
County Speedway. Career highlights include finishing 2nd in the
IMCA Points Championship in '98 and '08.
The thrill of racing for Scot is the
competition and speed. His most exciting racing moment was any
race that comes down to the White Flag lap. He's most proud that
his son has become involved in the sport and races too.
Scot's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.
Of racing, Scot says, "Don't get
involved...it's too expensive!".
