Julie Boettler

#97

Julie Boettler drives the #97 IMCA Southern Sport Mod Class car.  Her home track is Aztec Speedway but she can also be found racing at Fairgrounds Speedway.  She lives in Farmington, NM.

Team members helping Julie are:  Ted Boettler - Dad, is the car owner.

Julie started racing in 1998 in the Mini Stock Class at Aztec Speedway because her Dad always raced and she grew up around it.  He asked her if she wanted a car and she said yes!  Her first win was that same year.  Career highlights include '08 IMCA Stock Car Track Champion at Fairgrounds Speedway, finishing 16th in the National IMCA Points in Southern Sport Mod in '09, finishing 10th in National IMCA Points in Southern Sport Mod in '10, Mid Season Championship in '11 at Aztec Speedway, winning Ryan Bard Memorial race at Aztec Speedway in '11.

The thrill of racing for Julie is the adrenaline rush...it's addicting!  Her most exciting racing moment was winning the Ryan Bard Memorial race at Aztec Speedway in '11 and winning the Track Championship in I-Stock.  She's most proud of being competitive.  She feels she has a good shot at any race or race track that she goes to.

Julie's racing heroes are Christi Georges and Keith White.
