Ronnie Evans drives the #9 Mini Stock Class car.  His home track is Boyd Raceway.  He lives in Springtown, TX.

Ronnie started racing in 1980 in the Street Stock Class at Abilene Speedway because his friends and family were all into it.  His first win was in '09 in the Mini Stock Class at Boyd Raceway.  Career highlights include '09 2 time Heat winner. 

The thrill of racing for Ronnie is the competition.  He's most proud of the camaraderie and meeting a lot of new friends.

Ronnie's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Of racing, Ronnie says, "Please come out and watch us so we can all have a place to spend Friday and Saturday night instead of the bars and getting in trouble!  I spent 17 years in the United States Army and 2 tours in Iraq.  Thanks for supporting our Troops!".
