Damon Hammond drives the #116 Modified
Class car. His home track is Kennedale Speedway Park but he can
also be found racing at Cowtown Speedway, and Grand Prairie Speedway.
He lives in Burleson, TX.

Damon started racing in 1994 in the
Modified Class at Florida Texas because his Father was his idol.
His first win was in '01 in the Modified Class at South Alabama
Speedway. Career highlights include finishing 6th in Modified
Track National State in '09 in IMCA, finishing 3rd in Track, National
State Points in IMCA Crate Late Models.
The thrill of racing for Damon is his
friends and family. His most exciting racing moment was his first
win and finishing 3rd in Late Model his first year. He's most
proud of learning more about chassis, set ups, meeting new people and
idols.
Damon's racing hero is Kip Rocket - Dirt
Late Model Champion.
