Shelbie started racing in 2009 in the Go
Kart Pure Stock Over 11 Class at Cowtown Speedway because her Dad has
always raced and so has her brother. It's just in her blood.
Her first win was in '10 in the Pure Stock at Cowtown Speedway.
Career highlights include both she and her brother running two different
Heats and both winning.
The thrill of racing for Shelbie is the
power and thrill she has outrunning the boys. Her most exciting
racing moment was when she ran 1st for her Heat race. She's most
proud of knowing how much she's improved during the years.
Shelbie's racing heroes are Sam
Hafertepe Jr. and Joey Saldana.
