Taylor Smitherman drives the #1T Mini
Sprint Class car. His home track is Cowtown Speedway and where
ever else he can race. He lives in Kennedale, TX.

Taylor started racing in 1998 in the Go
Karts Class at Cowtown Speedway because he saw Dale Earnhardt on TV and
knew that is what he wanted to do. His first win was in '99 in the
Go Karts Class at Cowtown Speedway. Career highlights include
Track Championship in 2000 and 2006, over 200 wins, 1 Feature win in his
Mini Sprint in '07 which is his first year in that class and never
finishing lower than 3rd in the Points.
The thrill of racing for Taylor is the
fun and the adrenaline rush. His most exciting racing moment was
his first win and Championship and his first win in his Mini Sprint at
Gator Motorplex on 9/15/07. Also his first win in his Go Kart at
Weskart Speedway. He's most proud of his consistency in racing.
Taylor's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt
