James started racing in 1975 in the
Super Modified Class at Navasota Texas for the fun of speed. His
first win was that same year. Career highlights include Track
Championship at Big H Motor Speedway in '80 in Super Modified class,
World of Outlaws Top 5 finish in '84 at Big H Speedway and racing for 30
years.
The thrill of racing for James is the
fun of racing. His most exciting racing moment was starting on the
Pole in the World of Outlaws race in '84. He's most proud to have
raced for 30 years and not being hurt!
James's racing hero is Steve Kinzer.
