Chipper Wood drives the #47 Mini Stock Class car. His home track is Cowtown Speedway but he can also be found racing at Heart O' Texas Speedway. He lives in Kennedale, TX.

Team members helping Chipper are: Robin Pitts, Herb Wood and Leon Ricketts. Herb Wood is the car owner.

Tyler started racing in 1996 in the Go Karts class at West Kart because he wanted to stay out of trouble. His first win was that same year. Career highlights include 2004 2nd place in BMSA Mini-Sprints.

The thrill of racing for Chipper is getting to speed. His most exciting racing moment was winning all races in one night. He is most proud of having more than 100 first place trophies.

Chipper's racing hero is Steve Kinser.
