Kelly Gorham drives the #7 Modified Class

Colleyville, TX.

Kelly started racing in 2007 in the
Street Stock Class at Cowtown Speedway because his family has always
been into racing. When he turned 40 he thought it was now or
never. Career highlights include winning Heat race very first time
out in a race car (Street Stock), finishing 9th in Points, finishing 5th
in Limited Modified in '08 in Points.
The thrill of racing for Kelly is the
speed, close to other cars, mud on the shield, sliding sideways.
He's most proud of making lifelong friends, helping others.
Kelly's racing hero is Richard Petty.
Of racing, Kelly says, "It's never to
late to start. If you want to do it, get a car and do it!".
