C J Duarte
#83
C J Duarte drives the #83 600cc Mini
Sprint Class car. His home track is Cowtown Speedway. He
lives in Burleson, TX.
Team members helping C J are:
Dad-John Duarte, Mom-Pam Duarte, Brother-Vince Duarte. John and
Pam Duarte are the car owners.
C J started racing in 2001 in the Go
Karts 3 hp Beginner Class at Cowtown Speedway because he saw races on
T.V. when he was very small and like the way the cars sounded. He
also played football with a kid who raced and he had an extra cart and
let C J drive it one day and C J was hooked! His first win was
that same year.
The thrill of racing for C J is winning
of course. His most exciting racing moment was when he won his
very first race that he ever drove in. It was a Heat race but it
was still a race. He's most proud of being allowed to race a Mini
Sprint at the age of 12.
C J's racing heroes are George White,
Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Carl Edwards.
Of racing, C J says, Everyone should
experience driving a racecar at least once in their life. "Never give
up! Which was taught to me by Carl Edwards when I met him at TMS
last year. He is really a good guy.
