Megan Engstrom drives the #8 Mini Sprint class car.  Her home track is Cowtown Speedway but she can also be found racing at Grand Prairie Speedway and Heart O Texas Speedway.  She lives in Rhome, TX.

Team members helping Megan are:  Phillip Brimmer, Dad.  Mike Engstrom is the car owner.

Megan started racing in 2007 in the Mini Sprint Class at Cowtown Speedway because it is a family sport.  They have a race track in their front yard and Karting business (Kam)!  Her first win was in '07 in the Super Stock Class (Outlaw Cage Kart) at Kam Kartway.  Career highlights include Rookie of the Year, Best Sportsmanship, Most Improved Driver, Top 5 finish at Kam Kartway and Cowtown Speedway, SKRA for the season.

The thrill of racing for Megan is the speed, competition and the people.  Her most exciting racing moments are all the races.  She's most proud of being a girl and proving that girls are just as good as the boys.

Megan's racing heroes are her sisters.
