Larry Clevenger races the #L-1 Modified
Class car. He lives in Greenwood, LA.

Larry started racing in 1976 in the Stock
Car Class at Boothill Speedway because his uncle was racing and he liked
it. His first win was in the same year. Career highlights include 1979 LA
State Championship, 1981 Track Championship in Hot Stock Class, 1988 Top
10 in points in NCRA Late Model Class, and Track Champion in Late Model
Class in 1993, 1994, and 1995.
The thrill of racing for Larry is the
speed. His most exciting moment was winning the NCRA race at Big H
Speedway in Houston in 1988. He is most proud of his 3 Late Model Track
Championships and helping other guys get started.
Larry's racing hero is Dale Sr.
