Bill started racing in 1987 in the Mini
Stock Class at Rosebowl Raceway because he'd always wanted to race.
His first win was in '89 in the VW Mini Class at Boyd Raceway.
Career highlights include Track Champion at Boyd Raceway in '89, Track
Champion at DFW Speedway in '90 and '91.
The thrill of racing for Bill is the
total immersion in an engineering experiment. His most exciting
racing moment was his first Sprint win at North Texas Motor Speedway.
He's most proud of winning at Devil's Bowl Speedway and learning to get
Bill's racing heroes are Gary Wright and
A J Foyt.
Of racing, Bill says, "Forget NASCAR and
find a local Dirt Track where the real action is!! Racing is like
life. There are ups and downs. The ups hardly ever outnumber
the downs but you keep going to the next upswing!".
