Joel Garcia drives the #23 Limited Modified Class car.  His home track is Gator Motorplex but he can also be found racing at Heart 'O Texas Speedway.  He lives in Bryan, TX.

Team members helping Joel are:  Adam Ayalu, Outlaw, Grandma, Grandpa, Mom and brother.  Joe Garcia is the car owner.

Joel started racing in 2009 in the Pure Stock Class at Gator Motorplex because his Dad raced and so Joel wanted to try it.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include 1st and 2nd place finishes in Pure Stock and had a 3rd place finish this year in a new class in a new car in limited class. 

The thrill of racing for Joel is that size doesn't matter and we can go fast and plenty of competition.  His most exciting racing moment was his first place finish when 2nd and 3rd place cars were on his tail but he held the lead for the win by leading 20 laps.  He's most proud of moving up to Limited Modified class with a new car.  Just awesome and lots more respect it feels like.

Joel's racing heroes are Jimmy Johnson and Donny Schatz.

Of racing, Joel says, "Anyone can do it as long as you love to work because there is plenty but it is worth it!".
