John Morris drives the #50 Street Stock Class car.  His home track is Grand Prairie Speedway but he can also be found racing at Kennedale Speedway Park.  He lives in North Richland Hills, TX.

John started racing in 1992 in 1992 in the Street Stock Class at Cowtown Speedway because he grew up around it in North Carolina.  His first win was in '04 in the I-Stock Class at Grand Prairie Speedway.  Career highlights include finishing in the Top 5 in the Points the last 4 years, '07 Top 5 at Grand Prairie Speedway on Friday and in the Top 10 at Kennedale Speedway Park, Top 10 in State and in Region in I-Stocks.

The thrill of racing for John is to be in control of something that is out of control.  His most exciting racing moment was when his brother won his first race and John finished 2nd.  He's most proud of being a clean driver.

John's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
