Waylon Ray drives the #56 Street Stock
Class car. His home track is Grand Prairie Speedway but he can
also be found racing at Kennedale Speedway Park. He lives in
Mansfield, TX.

Waylon started racing in 2005 in the Jr
Mini Stock Class at Grand Prairie Speedway because he had already been
racing Go Karts at Cowtown Speedway and racing cars was the next step.
His first win was that same year. Career highlights include '05
finished 6th in the Points, '06 finished 3rd in the Points in Mini
Stock.
The thrill of racing for Waylon is the
adrenaline rush and the fun of it. His most exciting racing moment
was when he flipped and rolled his car 3 times in turn 1 & 2 at Grand
Prairie Speedway. He's most proud of finishing 3rd for the Points
Championship.
Waylon's racing hero is Richard Petty.
