Michael started racing in 2003 in the Street Stock Class at Grand Prairie Speedway for fun. Career highlights include 2003 8th in points, 2003 Rookie of the Year, multiple top ten in points, and 8th in points for IMCA Stock Car.

The thrill of racing for Michael is the competition. His most exciting moment was finishing 2nd in 2007 and 3rd in I-Stock that same night.
