Terry Beard drives the #008 Mini Stock Class car.  His home track is Grand Prairie Speedway but he can also be found racing at Thunderbird Speedway.  He lives in Kaufman, TX.

Team members helping Terry are:  Richard Beard and Donald Beard.

Terry started racing in 2002 in the Mini Stock Class at Thunderbird Speedway because he'd been helping with cars and had to have one of his own.  His first win was in 2004 in the Mini Stock at Grand Prairie Speedway.  Career highlights include 2003 finishing 5th in the Points at Thunderbird Speedway, 2004 finishing 3rd in the Points at Grand Prairie Speedway and 2005 Grand Prairie Speedway Mini Stock Track Championship.

The thrill of racing for Terry is just to be out there having fun.  His most exciting racing moment was starting in the back and working up to win.  He's most proud of the Grand Prairie Speedway Points Championship!

Terry's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Of racing, Terry says, "You can have the best engine but if the car is not setup it will do you no good!  Racing is about having fun!".
