Rodney started racing in 2004 in the Hot Stock Class at Grayson County Speedway because he had been around racing forever and knew how to work on one. His first wins were in 2005 in the Hot Stock and Sport Mod Class at Grayson County Speedway. Career highlights include working with Keith McCullough for 4 years, and helping Keith win 3 Track Championships at Grayson County Speedway and 1 Track Championship at Boyd Raceway.

The thrill of racing for Rodney is running inches apart and hoping it turns left. His most exciting moment was when he started on the back and told some friends to make a hole he was coming up to the front! When he got to the front he was upside down! He is most proud of winning Championships with Keith and his first Feature win.
