B J Baze drives the #19B Modified Class
car. His home track is Grayson County Speedway. He lives in
Sherman, TX.
Team members helping B J are: Mom,
Dad, Cody - brother, Wes Scheppke, Meredith Bates - fiance, Kay Leigh -
daughter. Randy and Jaci Baze are the car owners.
B J started racing in 1994 in the
Modified Class at Grayson County Speedway and Royce City Speedway
because his Grandfather raced for 34 years. His first win was in
'95 in the Modified Class at Grayson County Speedway. Career
highlights include 2000 qualified for Longhorn Roundup at Royce City
Speedway, 2000 IMCA Sprint Rookie (National), 2001 ASCS finished 7th in
the Points in his Rookie year.
The thrill of racing for B J is kissing
the Trophy Girl. His most exciting racing moment was the IMCA
National Sprint Rookie Championship in 2000 of which he's most proud.
B J's racing hero is Steve Kinser.
