Chance Whitworth
#2
Chance Whitworth drives the #2 Mini Stock
Class car. His home track is Grayson County Speedway but he can
also be found racing at Super Bowl Speedway, Cowtown Speedway and Paris
Motor Speedway. He lives in Tom Bean, TX.
Team members helping Chance are:
Dad, himself, Mom, Kyle, D & R Metals, Sample Insurance. Chance
and Brian Raney (Dad) are the car owners.
Chance started racing in 2005 in the
Mini Stock Class at Grayson County Speedway because he's been around it
since he was born, love working on it, love driving it, his Dad was good
and Chance wanted to be like him! His first win was in '06 in the
Mini Stock Class at Grayson County Speedway. Career highlights
include finishing 2nd in the Points in '06 and '07, leading in the
Points in '08 with 5 wins, making a total of 13 wins and flipping 6
times one year ago.
The thrill of racing for Chance is being
smooth, fast, winning, starting dead last and winning, the adrenaline
rush. His most exciting racing moment was when he flipped 6 times
and won 4 Features in a row. He's most proud of all of his Feature
wins, having the ability to do what I love to do, being born into a
racing family.
Chance's racing heroes are his Dad and
Steve Kinser.
Of racing, Chance says, "It's not always
about winning, but doing your best and being smooth!".
His favorite racing websites are any
with race cars.
