Don started racing in 2006 in the Sport Mod Class at Grayson County Speedway to promote his business. His first win was that same year. Career highlights include 2007 Duel in the Dirt Show Win.

The thrill of racing for Don is the friends he has made. His most exciting moment was his first feature win. He is most proud of being able to hang with the young guns at his age.

Don's racing hero is Martin Truex.
