Mitchell started racing in 2007 in the Jr Mini Class at Grayson County Speedway because racing is in the family. His first win was that same year. Career highlights include 2007 JR Mini Track Championship at Grayson County Speedway, racing Go-Karts starting at the age of 5, multiple feature wins, and getting the chance to drive a JR Mini.

The thrill of racing for Mitchell is going fast. His most exciting moment was winning a race on the last lap. He is most proud of his many wins.
