Paul Vines

Paul Vines drives the #3 Southern Sport
Mod Class car. His home track is Grayson Co. Speedway and
SuperBowl Speedway. but he can
also be found racing at Prairie Speedway, Elk City Raceway, Enid Speedway Park, Paris Motor Speedway, Route 66 Motor Speedway and Boyd
Raceway. He lives in Prosper, TX.

Susan Vines, Justin North, Willy Smith. Susan Vines is the car
owner. Paul wants to send out a special thanks to Burl Wood and his team
at State Farm.
Paul started racing in 1990 in the
Bomber Class at Elk City Raceway after watching races with his friends,
he just decided one day to do it. His first win was that same
year. Career highlights include having fun with family and
friends. Raced asphalt in Midland TX for about 4 years which was
the best time in racing for Paul. He had several Feature wins.
The thrill of racing for Paul is seeing
his hard work pay off with wins. He and his wife do most of the
work. His most exciting racing moment was coming from the back of
the pack to pass his best friend and finish 2nd in the Feature at Elk
City Raceway in '09. He's most proud of hanging out with young
kids that want to see the race car, having pictures taken, just being
their friend and role model.
Paul's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
