Eddie Doggett

#44

Eddie Doggett drives the #44 STEM Class car.  His home track is Grayson County Speedway.  He lives in Sherman, TX.

Team members helping Eddie are:  Elizabeth, Shannon, Ryan.  Eddie is the car owner.

Eddie started racing in 1978 in the Go Karts Class at Grayson County Speedway because his Dad worked at the track.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include Late Model Track Championships in '96 and '05, 49 Feature wins, 5 IMCA Mods, 44 Late Models, '03 IMCA National Feature win, '08 Monster Mash win, finishing 2nd in the IMCA Modified Points in Greenville in '99.

The thrill of racing for Eddie is making the fans cheer or boo.  At least they are watching him.  His most exciting racing moment was Monster Mash win only leading the last lap but with 4 great passes.  He's most proud of running 2nd in the '99 Greenville IMCA Mod to Tim Clontch where they had 144 cars that year.

Eddie's racing hero is Eldon Dodson.

Of racing, Eddie says, "Be safe and have fun first!  As long as I make the kids happy and someday they will sit in my seat and do what I love!".

His favorite racing websites are all of them.
