Dusty started racing in 2004 in the Sport Mod Class at Grayson County Speedway because racing is in his blood. His first win was that same year in a Hot Stock. Career highlights include his first Feature win in 2004, 2007 Swept Monster Mash.

The thrill of racing for Dusty is the speed and adrenaline. His most exciting moment was weeping the Monster Mash in 2007. He is most proud of building his own car.
