Shannon races anything he can out of
Ivanhoe, Texas. His home track is Grayson County Speedway.
Shannon started racing in 1996 in the Hot Stock Class at Grayson County
Speedway. The reason he started racing is that "it's in the blood.
I've been around racing all my life."
Shannon got his first win in a Late
Model at Grayson County Speedway in 1997. In 1998, he was the
Grayson Co. Late Model Track Champion with 9 feature wins. In 1999
he won the Late Model Track Championship again with 16 feature wins.
The thrill of racing for Shannon is
"running door-to-door with some of the best racers in North Texas."
His most exciting racing moment was winning the feature in a Hot Stock
in 1997 with a broken foot and a big hoof on the foot.
Shannon is most proud of "being able to
go racing every Saturday night with my two brothers." His racing
hero is Tony Stewart.
Crew and the people that help are Jason
Hartline, Shane Hartline, Taylor Hartline, Sebring + McKayla, and
Abby & Cody Hulme.
Shannon would like to tell you that
racing is "alot of fun and you have to pay to play!"
