Mickey Helms drives the #174 Limited Late Model Class car.  His home track is Texoma Speedway but he can also be found racing at I-37 Speedway.  He lives in Victeria, TX.

Mickey started racing in 1982 in the Bomber class at Shady Oaks Speedway after a friend got him into racing.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include Super Stock Track Championship at Texoma Speedway, Bomber Class Champion at Shady Oaks Speedway, Street Stock Champion at Texoma Speedway, Late Model Champion at Texoma Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Mickey is enjoying the people.  His most exciting racing moment was winning Feature races.  He's most proud of being able to finish the year with a Track Championship.

Mickey's racing hero is Tony Stewart.
