Shay Knight drives the #21s Hobby Class car.  Her home track is Heart O' Texas Speedway but she can also be found racing at 281 Speedway.  She lives in Crawford, TX.

Team members helping Shay are:  Dad - Kevin, Bill, Mom - Michelle, Cody, Joshua - boyfriend.  Kevin Heatherington is the car owner.

Shay started racing in 2008 in the Hobby Class at Heart O' Texas Speedway because her Daddy raced while she was growing up and he got her into it.  It's a family thing.

The thrill of racing for Shay is the speed.  Her most exciting racing moment was when she passed five cars on the first lap of the race.  She's most proud of not taking people out on the track.

Shay's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Of racing, Shay says, "It's a rush and one the best sports out there!".
