Dwayne Grantham drives the #27G IMCA Modified Class car.  His home track is Heart O' Texas Speedway but he can also be found racing at Texas Thunder Speedway.  He lives in Robinson, TX.

Team members helping Dwayne are:  Brian Gauy, Chad Bowman, DAvid Gaskamp, Jimmy Don Sumerour. 

Dwayne started racing in 1982 in the Street Stock Class at Heart O' Texas Speedway and Lone Star Speedway because his Dad made him a deal.  If Dwayne would stop riding bulls, he would put Dwayne in a race car!  Career highlights include finishing in the Top 10 in '82, '83, '84 in Street Stock, Top 10 finish in '85, '86, '87 in the Pro Stock Class, Top 10 finish in '88, '89, '90 in Late Models, Top 5 finish in '91, '92, '93 Iron Head Wing Modifieds, Top 5 finish in '95, '95, '96 in IMCA Modifieds and just started back after raising 3 boys.

The thrill of racing for Dwayne is the competition and the adrenaline rush.  He's most proud of the friends he's made over the years.

Dwayne's racing heroes are J.T. Carpenter and Gordon Wooley.
