Randy Thompson drives the #5T Cruiser Class car.  His home track is Heart O Texas Speedway.  He lives in Mount Calm, TX.

Team members helping Randy are:  Mildred - wife, Hailey-daughter, Dustin-son.  Randy and Mildred Thompson are the car owners.

Randy started racing in '99 in the Cruiser Class at Bellmead Speedway because of his love of speed and competition.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include winning his first Feature in Pure  Stock in '99, finishing 2nd in Cruiser Class in '99 and 2000, placing in the Top 10 since '01 and his many trophies.

The thrill of racing for Randy is the speed and competition.  His most exciting racing moment was winning.  He's most proud of his family backing him with support. 

Bill Bailey Passed on in Aug. 2008. He was a very  big part of Randy's racing . He owned two cars in cruiser and Randy's cars now are called Grand Dad Racing.  

Randy's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
