Dena Holder Wachsmann drives the #94AK Twister Class car.  Her home track is Heart O' Texas Speedway.  She lives in West, TX.

Dena started racing in 1994 in the Mini Stock Class at Heart O' Texas Speedway because her Dad and little brother raced.  Her first win was that same year.  Career highlights include '94 Championship in Powder Puff, '10 twice finished 3rd.

The thrill of racing for Dena is because her grandkids were always at the races with her until they were killed.  Her car is 94 AK as A is for Austin and K is for Kynzee.  Her most exciting racing moment was when she got in her car and first hit the track.  It was a rush for her.  She could feel her Grandkids with her all the way around and finished 3rd.  She's most proud that her kids are always riding with her and keeping her safe.

Dena's racing hero is Vernon Holder.

Of racing, Dena says, "That is is fun but it does cost money even though you own it.  God blesses me every Friday night when I race!".
