ndrew Richards drives the #9 Cruiser Class car.  His home track is Heart O' Texas Speedway but he can also be found racing at Texas Thunder Speedway.  He lives in Robinson, TX.

Team members helping Andrew are:  Roy Richards, Corey Pavelka, Morris Wood, Ricky Guenat.  Morris Wood is the car owner.

Andrew started racing in 2008 in the Cruiser Class at Heart O' Texas Speedway because his brother-in-law was racing and got a new car so Andrew drove his old one.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include Track Championship in '10 in the Cruiser Class, leading in the Points in '11.

The thrill of racing for Andrew is driving.  It's a rush.  He also loves all the time he gets to spend with family since they all love it.  His most exciting racing moment was winning his first race.  His first Championship!  Definitely the time he got to spend racing against his little brother before he passed away in '09.  Andrew will never forget all the great times they had on and off the track.  He's most proud of winning the Cruiser Championship in '10.

Andrew's racing heroes are Jimmie Johnson, NASCAR.  He is amazing!  Locally Keith Green and Doug Andrews.  Andrew has been watching them since he was little.

Of racing, Andrew says, "It's harder than it looks but it's a blast!  They have no idea the amount of time and work that is done before you even get to the track!".
