Michelle Melton drives the #21 Champ Modified Class car.  Her home track is Kam Kartway but she can also be found racing at North Texas Kartway and Texoma Motor Speedway.  She lives in Flower Mound, TX.

Team members helping Michelle are:  Dad, Curtis Minor, Cory Minor.  Mike Melton is the car owner.

Michelle started racing in 2003 in the Jr. One Class at North Texas Kartway because it looked like a lot of fun.  Her first win was that same year.  Career highlights include North Texas Kartway Track Champion and Kam Kartway Track Champion. 

The thrill of racing for Michelle is the speed and learning the different set ups for different tracks.  Her most exciting racing moment was battling for first place with a good friend.  They kept passing each other for the entire race with Michelle winning the battle to take 1st place!  She's most proud of the wins she's gotten, with no more racing than she's done.

Michelle's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Michelle says, "How fun racing is to me and it is a good family sport!".
