Waylon Ray


Waylon Ray drives the #56 I-Stock Class car.  His home track is Kennedale. He lives in Mansfield, TX.

Team members helping Waylon are Dad, Joey Powers, Gene Holton, Lee Hollar, Paul Berber.  Cecil Ray, Waylon's Dad, is the car owner.

Waylon first started racing in '98 in the go Karts Class at Cowtown because his parents got him into it when he was young.  His first win was that same year in the same class and same track.  Career highlights include top 10 every year since '98; win multiple wins at random. 

The thrill of racing for Waylon is the feeling of going that fast.  His most exciting racing moment is when he won his first race at Grand Prairie Speedway.  He is most proud of his consistancy. 

Waylon's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
