Kayla Maxey drives the #5 Sports Mod
class car. Her home track is Kennedale Speedway Park but she can also be
found racing at other tracks. She lives Mansfield, TX.
Team members helping Kayla are: Poncho and
Lefty, Mom, Dad, Elena, and Alli. Frank and Ellen Maxey are the car
owners.
Kayla started racing in 1998 in the Go
Kart class at Cowtown Speedway because she loved the sport. Her first win
was in that same year. Career highlights include 2001 Track
Championship and 2001 Dominator.
The thrill of racing for Kayla is the
speed. Her most exciting racing moment was all of her wins. She is
most proud of Dominator in 2001.
Kayla's racing hero is Keith Green.
