Chris Ater drives the #7 Hobby Stock Class
car. His home tracks are Kennedale Speedway Park and Boyd Raceway. He
lives in Fort Worth, TX.

Chris started racing in 2003 in the
Hobby Stock Class at Kennedale Speedway Park because he had raced Motor
Cross for 25 years and decided he was getting to old and jumped in a
race car. His first win was that same year. Career highlights include
2004 I-37 Speedway Track Champion in Hobby Stock, 13 feature wins in
2004, and 15 feature wins in 2007.
The thrill of racing for Chris is he
loves the competition and the adrenaline rush. His most exciting moment
was when he flipped his I-Stock in 2004. He is most proud of his wins
and how it is helping his son to get involved in racing.
Chris's racing hero is Tony Stewart.
