Rick Barrett drives the #98 Hobby Stock
Class car. His home track is Kennedale Speedway Park but he can
also be found racing at Abilene Speedway, 281 Speedway, and Boyd
Raceway. He lives in Joshua, TX.

Rick started racing in 1984 in the
Street Stock Class at Cowtown Speedway because it looked like fun.
His first win was in 1989 in the Econo Late Model Class at RPM
Speedway. Career highlights include approximately 50 Feature
wins in many different classes.
The thrill of racing for Rick is making
the car go around the race track as fast as he can. His most
exciting racing moment was winning the 10 Lap Dash for a complete WCH
Engine. He's most proud of winning 5 in a row at 281 Speedway.
Rick's racing hero is Charlie Lucus.
