Steven Orebaugh drives the #99 Jr. Mini
Stock Class car. He lives in Arlington, TX. His home track is
Kennedale Motor Speedway, but he can also be found racing at Boyd Raceway.
He started racing in 2003 in Jr.
Mini Stock Class at Kennedale out of the love of the sport. His first win
was the same year, Class and Track. Career highlights include,
Rookie of the Year, was KEP Jr. Mini Stock Champion, Mid Season Champion,
11 Feature wins.
2004
he was been crowned Boyd raceways Jr. Mini Stock Champion and placed 4th
in points at Kennedale Speedway Park.
1st night of racing at KSP Steven rolled his car 4 times over and over. He
has 4 feature wins at KSP and 9 at Boyd Raceway in 2004, with numerous 2nd
and 3rd place finishes at both tracks. In the Valvoline cup steven is
ranked #30 in the nation out of all 4 cyl cars. Steven ranked #1 in
Texas out of all 4 cyl cars
Steven is going places in this sport with his driving ability and
consistant dedication to the sport. At KSP 3-day show Steven raced with
the regular Mini Stocks and placed 2nd. At GrandPrairie Speedway's Texas
Stampede Steven raced Jr. Mini and placed 4th. At Cowtown Speedway's
Topless 100 Special Event Steven placed 6th. At 281 Speedway's Stampede
Special Event Steven placed 6th
Steven so far is the only Jr. Mini Stock driver in DFW and surrounding
areas to have 2 track Championships.
The thrill of racing for Steven is the
adrenalin rush. His most exciting racing moments were winning three
Features in a row, twice. He is most proud of winning the
Championship during his first year in racing.
Steven's racing hero is Jay Bransom.
Of racing, Steven says, "Need more horses
get a mustang".
