Michael Therwhanger drives the #11 Sport Mod Class car.  His home track is Lady Luck Speedway but he can also be found racing at Cardinal Motor Speedway and Champion Motor Speedway.  He lives in Seminole, TX.

Team members helping Michael are:  Rick Mitchell, Keith Harkey, Jeff Emerson, Rusty Moorefield.  Mo Therwhanger is the car owner.

Michael started racing in 2009 in the Sport Mod Class at Lady Luck Speedway because he'd always been a fan and motorcross hurts!  His first win was in '10 in the Sport Mod Class at Lady Luck Speedway.  Career highlights include his first win on June 12, 2010.

The thrill of racing for Michael is the competition and the adrenaline rush.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win and every win after that.  He's most proud of the time he has gotten to spend with his Dad and friends.

Michael's racing heroes are Kasey Kahne and Jeff Emerson.
