Donald Thatch drives the #82 Modified Class car.  His home track is Champion Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing at Cardinal Motor Speedway and Lady Luck Speedway.  He lives in Midland, TX.

Team members helping Donald are:  James Dennis, Will Poston, Linda Thatch, Sarah Butler, Richard Myers, Tim Ridgeway.  Donald Thatch and Sarah Butler are the car owners.

Donald started racing in 1988 in the Bomber Class at Penwell Speedway to go fast.  His first win was in '94 in the Street Stock Class at Champion Motor Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Donald is to turn left and go fast on dirt.  His most exciting racing moment was flipping 3 times in Midland on May 28th. 

Of racing, Donald says, "You need to have a lot of money to keep going all year, especially Modifieds!".
