Steve Grantz

Steve Grantz drives the #21G Limited Modified Class Car.  His hometrack is Lonestar Speedway, but he also races at South Texas Speedway.  Steve lives in White Oak, TX.

People helping Steve with his car are Steve's sons, Noah Vanblarcum and Kiehl Vanblarcum.  Kari Grantz is the car owner.

Steve started racing in 2000 in a Bomber Class car at C.C. Speedway because he loves the sport.

Steve's first win was that same year in a Bomber at C.C. Speedway.  His career highlights include: always finishing in the top 10 in points with several seconds.  He has raced asphalt and dirt.  He finished 5th at South Texas Shootout in December 2011.

The thrill of racing for Steve is being able to set the car up better than the car beside him and drive past him.  Steve's most exciting racing moment was hitting the wall in hot laps, coming back and winning the heat and feature at I-37 Speedway.  The thing Steve is most proud of is sportsmanship.

Steve's racing hero is Ted Shepard of Enid, OK.

Of racing, Steve says: "take a friend to your local track and have fun!"
