Adam Willis drives the #15M Late Model
Class car. He lives in Pitkin, LA. His home track is Thunder
Valley Speedway but he can also be found racing at Forest Hill Speedway,
Leesville 171 Speedway and Motorama Speedway.
He started racing in 2000 in the Street
Stock Class at Thunder Valley Speedway because his brothers and Dad had
always raced. Adam was raised around racing his whole life.
His first win was in that same year. Career highlights include
Rookie of the Year, Top 5 Points (2000), 5 wins in 2000, Spring National
Championship in 2000, 5 wins in 2002, Top 5 in Points in 2002, 6 wins in
2003, Top 10 in Points in 2003, and 4 wins so far in 2004.
The thrill of racing for Adam is going out
there every weekend knowing he is going to have the time of his life.
His most exciting racing moment was his first night out on the track.
He was smiling from ear to ear for a solid week. He ran 6th place
his first night and thought he won the championship. He's most proud
of having started so young and having done so well. Not everyone has
it in them to drive. Adam thanks God that he has it in him.
Adam's racing hero is Billy Moyer Jr.
Of racing, Adam says, "Racing is a fun
hobby. It is something you can do with your family. It is so
action packed, it is unbelievable!".
